This is a project for a class I am taking over at Studio Calico- the class is called Bright Ideas. I am only four days into my first crafting class ever and I really love it. I definitely recommend a Studio Calico class- it's definitely worth the price! ($12 in my case)

I created these burlap wall hangings today and the DIY polka dots were just what they needed! I used gold acrylic paint, and the end of a Stickles container as my "stamp" :)

I used burlap (by the yard), a chopstick to give the top structure, and red velvet bias tape for the bows. I covered two  pins that I use for sewing with red buttons on the ends and used the pins to attach them to the burlap. :)
